Flash Write: Overthinker

She's a thinker, she's been told. Always has been, always will be. That's a good thing. She likes being a thinker. Mostly. It definitely has its cons. For example, she overthinks everything. The slightest little blip of anything. It could mean nothing to everyone, but to her, it could shake her world. She has deeper thoughts that most. So she doesn't connect with people well. They aren't on the same level mentally. She craves connections with those with heads like hers. She wants to talk about the deep stuff. It helps her let people in, give them a glimpse of her life. And she likes it when they open up and let her in. It's like giving her a key to their heart and she gets to open it up and walk right in. She gets to look around. She see's a box labeled "struggles" and another labeled "love". They both have Post-Its stuck on them that say, "to those I've let into my heart". See what she means about the deep thoughts?

The voice in her head is much louder than the one she speaks with. The mental voice pours words and thoughts freely without stopping, creating some kind of free-spirited creature. It's a constant bombardment. A never ending stream of THIS or THAT.

She is an over thinker.
